Global Walk Against Pain
The Centre for Pain Research at University of Galway and ENLIGHT PainNet Thematic Network invite you to join us for the Global Walk Against Pain on Saturday, 29 August 2026, at the University of Galway parkrun.
The Global Walk Against Pain brings people together around the world to raise awareness of chronic pain and highlight the fact that pain is often invisible.
📍 Location: University of Galway parkrun, Dangan Sportsgrounds
🕘 Arrive and check-in: 9:15am
🚶 Walk starts: 9:30am
👣 Distance and pace: Walk as little or as much as you like, up to 5 km, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
